Personal care
Personal care focuses on daily living support rather than skilled clinical services. It can be the right fit when the need is bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, companionship, errands, or respite.
Medicare usually does not cover ongoing non-medical personal care by itself. Coverage depends on the full care plan, payer, and whether skilled services are also required.
Ask about caregiver training, background checks, supervision, backup coverage, minimum hours, rates, and whether the agency can support the specific daily routines needed.
